A bit of history tonight for dinner.
This restaurant was established in 1686 here in the Saint Germain des Pres district in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
1686. Let that sink in.
A three-course meal of entree, plat, and dessert with a glass of Bordeaux red for about 45 euros… not at all bad for fantastic authentic French cuisine in an incredible setting with proper French service! The restaurant is tucked in a charming pedestrian alley on the Cour du Commerce Saint-Andre. It is great for dinner, a bit upscale with several small indoor dining rooms on multiple levels as well as just a few small al fresco tables outside.
