Comparison is the Thief of Joy

…whether you are comparing yourself to someone else, or you are comparing your now to your yesterday or your tomorrow.

Don’t do it.

Live in the now.

Be present.

Be mindful.

The key to happiness is gratitude.

The only valid, helpful comparison you should ever allow into your consciousness is to compare your life and your circumstances to those less fortunate than yourself… that comparison always produces gratitude.

A grateful heart, by definition, cannot be unhappy.

What daily, consistent habits have you developed to cultivate gratitude?
